What to do and how to control it:

You need to find a missing cog. There is one on each floor. Once you find the cog, go back to elevator and it will take you further down. (on the second floor you need to push the button twice!)

Controls:

Arrows for movement

X - fire your weapon

C - throw granade

Space - jump/double jump

E - for pressing the elevator button

You are Bob. And you are stuck somewhere deep surounded by zombies. Find 3 Cog wheels, Repair the elevator and get home in one piece. You will have to go deeper and deeper as that was the theme of LudumDares 48th game jam.

I am proud of my creation, however there are lots of things that are missing, since I have underestimated the given time. But I hope you will have some fun with my creation! If so, please leave me some feedback, and if don´t leave feedback as well.

Thanks for your time.

I have enjoyed this a lot!

I have been using Aseprite for pixel-art, UNITY as game engine and FL Studio for music and sounds.

Jo! I've played your game ;)) I will need to go to the hospital, because my left hand fell off from firing too many rounds XDD Incredible work for a jam!
After I've collected cog #3, I was in the elevator going upwards towards the end I guess? But I fell through the elevator floor midway and died D':

Hehe, hope your hand will get better soon ;) You are right, once you´ll get the elevator moving upwards, you are about to win once you´ll get on top... unless you die :D

so you jumped off or you fell thru the elevator floor?

Anyway, thank you for playing and come back once the update is up ;)

Cheers mate!

This worked out really well for only 48 hrs!

I enjoyed the fast pace needed for the game and the pixelart was spot on. I think you implemented the "invisible tutorial" very nicely by placing the player in situations and allowing the player time to use a certain feature instead of just a text wall. Quite fun!

Tighten up the controls and speed up the game a bit and this hits all my zombie slaying desires. :)

THank you so much for playing my game and kind feedback!

I have already started with work on an update and will try my best to hit your zombie slaying desires ;)

You are dead, congratulations!

A bit rough around the edges but given the short time, it's understandable! I liked the game, reminded me a bit of some old DOS shooter I was playing called Bio Menace.

So I got confused on floor 1 - collected the cog, saw cogs 1/3 and thought I had to go back to the beginning but couldn't jump back up. Then I read the description that said there's 3 cogs overall, not 3 cogs per floor :D I got kind of swamped on floor 2, zombies didn't seem to stop coming so I got stuck there

Thanks for playing mate! Yeah it is very rough around the edges :D It is missing some balance and in-game guidance, all of which was planed, yet I had to cut many things in order to fit 48hr window. For me it is a lesson for the future to plan and scope better :)

At this moment, the play-thru need to have "speedrun" pace in order to not get swamped. On one hand this is a design mistake for sure, but as we have seen in many movies. Single zombie is fine, but once there is a horde you have a problem. And no one never know where they keep coming from :D

Really thanks for your time with my game. I plan post-jam version.
